Q: What sorts of messages are contained under Important Mails?
A: Important Mails contain 1) messages for all rejected transactions 2) debit advices for successful forward-valued transactions (except HKD Fund Transfer between Hang Seng Accounts and Bill Payments) 3) messages broadcasted by the Bank from time to time.
   
Q: Who can receive Important Mails?
A: Broadcast messages can be read by all users. Debit advices or rejected messages for pending instructions will be sent to the instruction final authoriser.
   
Q: How many messages received from the Bank can be stored?
A: Maximum 10 messages. However, please delete the messages after reading or print it out to keep a copy.
   
Q: Is authorisation required for deletion of Important Mails?
A: No.
   
Q: How long will messages be kept online?
A: 30 days after mailing date, viewed or unread.
